Precision Metal Stamping Services

SMC Metal Stamping Division specializes in low to medium/high volume precision stampings and cutting blade. Our years of experience have honed our skills to provide you with the “tough parts”. Progressive and compound tools, built in-house or customer supplied, turn out close tolerance, complex parts on time and to print. Specializing in products such as: electrical contacts, circuit boards, cutting blades.

Supplementary Operations		To offer the best possible lead times we have in-house capabilities to provide: Cleaning Vibratory deburring Passivation Harperizing Packaging Our qualified vendor partners offer: Plating Welding Ultra-sonic cleaning Electro-polishing Laser marking

Materials		We are experienced with a wide variety of materials and will work with customer supplied materials when needed. We commonly run: Aluminum Brass Bronze Copper Berrylium copper Steel Stainless steel Exotics including platinum, gold, others Plastics

Engineering		We welcome the opportunity to assist our customers in product design. Our engineers will work with you to ensure maximum design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA). Progressive and compound dies are designed in concert with this concept and are built on site in our state of the art tool room. Our engineers work with the following software: AutoCAD SolidWorks Feature CAM Pro E Part Maker Inventor

Assembly		We also offer a complete assembly department where your stamped components can be matched up with machined and/or injection molded parts from our other divisions or vendors to produce a sub-assembly ready for your installation

Quality		Our quality system is ISO-9001 certified. As a supplier to numerous medical, defense and industrial equipment manufacturers we can supply whatever quality metrics required. Please link to our equipment list for a summary of our quality equipment.

Recycling		SMC Stamping Division supports recycling efforts. All scrap is recycled. When using customer supplied material we will return scrap when negotiated in advance.
